40-year-old man pulled out unconscious after injury in the Amba Gorge, Heraklion

According to information from flashnews.gr, the man was transported to the Harakas Health Center.

He had been injured on Sunday (7/12) while descending the Amba waterfall in the Asterousia Mountains.

Under unknown circumstances, he lost his balance during the crossing at Treis Ekklisies. Today, after an extremely difficult rescue operation, members of the EMAK rescue unit managed to pull him out, though he was unconscious.
