There are only 17 people in the world that can claim to be part of the ‘$100 billion club’. Some notable names on this list include Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, who are the two richest men in the world.
Many of the ‘$100 billion club’ members have been able to gain their 12-digit fortune by owning stock in some of the biggest, most profitable companies in the world.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the total wealth of these 17 individuals is worth a staggering $2.5 trillion, which is more than Google and Amazon.
Meet the 17 ‘centi billionaires’ of the world
Elon Musk

Elon Musk’s net worth is estimated to be $241 billion. He is also reportedly on track to become the world’s first trillionaire, comfortably topping this list. Musk amassed his wealth by owning large amounts of both Tesla and SpaceX stock, and by acquiring several other business ventures like X, Neuralink and founding xAI.
Jeff Bezos

Bezos’s net worth is estimated to be $212 billion, with most of his wealth coming from owning large amounts of Amazon stock. He is also the owner and executive chairman of the tech giants. More recently, however, the billionaire has turned his focus to his space company, Blue Origin, and caused controversy when he vetoed the Washington Post’s endorsement of Kamala Harris.
Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg has been a usual member of the world’s richest lists since the mid-to-late 2000s. He is the co-founder and CEO of Meta, formerly known as Facebook, which in turn owns Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads. Bernard Arnault is the first billionaire on the list who is not American. The Frenchman is the founder, chairman, and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. His luxury conglomerate owns brands like Dior, Sephora and Fendi.
As you can probably guess, his wealth comes from owning LVMH stock, and his net worth is estimated to be $177 billion. Crucially however it must be said that this year Arnault lost $30.6 billion in stock, which made him drop to fifth place.

Larry Page

Larry Page is the co-founder of Google and has been heavily invested in the company since its founding. He had to spell as CEO, once from 1998 to 2001, and the second time from 2011 to 2015.
In his latter term in the company, he restructured the company into an Alphabet subsidiary. His net worth is estimated to be $149 billion, with the majority of his wealth coming from owning alphabet stock.
Warren Buffet

Warren Buffet is one of the most famous investors in the world. Besides owning 15 percent of his company Berkshire Hathaway, he also has multi-billion dollar stakes in companies like Apple and Coca-Cola. His net worth is estimated to be $147 billion.
