The Municipality of Corinth and the Hellenic Tourism Organization are moving forward with actions to promote tourism.
In detail, the Municipality of Corinth, within the framework of the implementation of the tourism promotion actions, is planning to organize a familiarization trip for journalists. The trip is expected to take place from August 30 to September 1 and at least 8 journalists are expected to participate.
The Hellenic Tourism Organization will participate financially in the organization of the “KinoFest 2025 – German-speaking Film Festival”, which will be held from September 24 to 28, at the premises of the AchaiaClauss winery, Patras, by the Urban Cooperative for Social Purposes with limited liability, ABCinema ΚΟΙΝ.Σ. OP.
According to the GNTO, this event is based on the promotion of film tourism, contributing to the strengthening of the “image” of the destination “Greece” as a destination of unique and multidisciplinary experiences, while at the same time it will take place in the premises of the historic AchaiaClauss winery, combining cinema with culture and local tradition.
The GNTO will also participate in the annual FVWworkshops 2025 organized by the wide-ranging German tourism information network FVWMedien, in Kos from October 15 to 19. In this context, it proceeded to purchase a sponsorship package of 24,990 euros including VAT in exchange for a series of compensatory benefits for the Organization, such as a report and video of the GNTO at the start of the workshop, appearance of the logo on the official FVWworkshop website, etc.
According to the Greek National Tourism Organization, this action, organized exclusively by the FVW, is a useful tool for international markets as it is widely accepted by German tourism representatives. Thus, it effectively contributes to the promotion of the selected destination and to the formation of a positive image for the destination in the German tourism market and is part of the Marketing Plan of the Ministry of Tourism 2025-2028 and the Greek National Tourism Organization’s established promotion and visibility strategy.
