Until August 22, 2025, the old Venetian port of Chania is hosting a unique exhibition that has become an institution: the 20th Classic Motorcycle Exhibition and the 11th Classic Bicycle Exhibition. At the historic “Mikis Theodorakis” Theater, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a unique journey into the world of two wheels, with dozens of impressive exhibits.
The Classic Motorcycle Club of Chania is presenting more than 80 motorcycles and 30 bicycles this year, dating from 1914 to 1990. From legendary Triumph and BMW models to Greek MEGOs, as well as military machines, old 50s, bicycles from World War I and even a refrigerated bicycle used for ice cream distribution, each exhibit has its own story.
This is an exhibition that captivates young and old, not only motoring enthusiasts. A walk among the two-wheeled “beauties” of the 20th century reveals the evolution of technology but also moments of everyday life from previous decades. The collectors who take care of them transmit their passion and love to visitors, making the experience even more vivid.
The exhibition is open daily from 20:00 to 24:00, with free admission, offering the ideal opportunity for an evening stroll in the illuminated harbor of Chania, combining culture, history and travel experience.
