The fastest Greek runner, Kyriakos Exadaktylos, finished in 3:10:40, placing 2,258th, with Stavros Pehas close behind at 3:12:24. Pehas ranked around 2,445th overall. The first Greek woman, Eleftheria Papadopulou, finished in 4:19:45.
Exadaktylos’ performance was remarkable, showcasing excellent pacing on tough stretches, such as the Harbour Bridge and Centennial Park. He beat the group average by more than 50 minutes and outperformed many locals in this significant Major debut.
