The Emirates Skywards frequent flyer program has officially activated flight rewards for Premium Economy Class travel—a move welcomed enthusiastically by more than 35 million members worldwide. The award-winning loyalty program of Emirates and flydubai now allows members to redeem Skywards Miles for Classic Rewards and Upgrade Rewards across all cabins. This long-awaited offering highlights Skywards’ commitment to redefining the frequent flyer experience by consistently providing more rewards, privileges, and broader travel options.
Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, stated:
“We are delighted to announce the introduction of flight rewards for Emirates’ highly sought-after Premium Economy Class. This offer has been in development for some time and comes in response to the strong success, positive feedback, and high demand from our members for redeeming Miles in Premium Economy—especially on popular long-haul routes such as London, Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. Initially, the offer will be available exclusively to Skywards members, with plans to expand to other airline partners in the future. We are confident this enhancement will further enrich the travel experience, staying true to our brand promise of always delivering a superior flying experience. We look forward to seeing more of our members enjoy Emirates’ newest, luxurious cabin, with service comparable to the Business Class of many airlines.”
From 7,000 Skywards Miles
Members can now redeem Skywards Miles for a full flight ticket in Emirates Premium Economy starting at 15,000 Miles (one-way).
Passengers can also request an upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy starting at 7,020 Miles (one-way). Upgrade requests can be made before the flight, with the option also available at Emirates check-in counters subject to availability.
The program has also recently expanded Classic Rewards to all flydubai flights, starting from 5,000 Miles, while refreshing Cash+Miles pricing. Skywards Miles redemptions remain one of the most popular benefits of the program, with nearly 500,000 tickets issued through Classic Rewards, Cash+Miles, and Upgrade Rewards during the summer (June–August 2025) to popular destinations such as London, Paris, New York, and Bangkok.

Emirates in Greece
Emirates entered the Greek market in 1996. Over the past 28 years, it has served more than 4.5 million passengers in Greece. Emirates was the first airline to directly connect Athens with Dubai and, since March 2017, has offered the only direct daily flight linking Greece with the United States, operating 365 days a year.
Passengers flying with Emirates can enjoy over 6,500 channels of entertainment on the airline’s award-winning ice system, along with world-class hospitality and personalized service from its international, multicultural cabin crew. Starting with just two aircraft in 1985, Emirates is now the world’s largest international airline.
