At the dinner hosted by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his wife, Melania Trump, in New York on the occasion of the High-Level Week of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was in attendance, accompanied by his wife, Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotaki.

The Mitsotakis couple’s presence at the official dinner is part of the program of multilateral contacts being held by the Greek delegation in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly proceedings.

It should be noted that Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Trump already know each other from the American president’s previous term, which coincided with Mr. Mitsotakis’ first year as prime minister. In fact, they had met at the White House in early 2020. The possibility of a new meeting between the two at the White House in the near future remains on the table, although details have not yet been finalized.
