The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) has released video footage and photographs from a major operation conducted by the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (D.A.O.E.) in the early hours of Tuesday, October 7, aimed at dismantling a criminal organization involved in the economic and labor exploitation of foreign nationals.
During the operation, 170 individuals were detained and 13 members of the criminal organization were arrested, including the alleged ringleader. Additionally, six other individuals were arrested on unrelated charges.

Members of the ring are accused of bringing foreign nationals into Greece, withholding their legal documents, and forcing them to work as farm laborers for little to no pay.
Arrests took place in various locations across the country, including Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Messinia, Ilia, Boeotia, and Argos. Authorities also seized vehicles, cash, passports, and quantities of narcotics.
