Greece was honored with the award for the second best country in the world at the Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, awarded by the American edition of Conde Nast Traveler magazine for the 38th year.

Our country, with a total score of 92.31, was on the “absolute” list of countries in the world, immediately after Japan, which emerged first this year, with a score of 95.36.
Top honors in this year’s annual Conde Nast Traveler awards were won by 4 more Greek islands and a total of 21 Greek hotels.
Specifically, Crete received the first prize for the best island in Europe with a score of 91.85, followed immediately by Corfu (90.67). The top ten also includes Mykonos, in 7th place with a score of 87.41, and Paros in 8th with a score of 86.38.
Regarding the awards given to Greek hotels, global honors were won by Sani Resort in Halkidiki and Euphoria Retreat in Mystras. Sani Resort was named among the 50 best resorts in the world, ranking 45th in the relevant ranking, and Euphoria Retreat among the 20 best destination spa resorts in the world, ranking 5th.
