Doncaster-Manningham Greek Senior Citizens Association extends best wishes at Christmas pa

True to their appointment, members of the Doncaster-Manningham Greek Senior Citizens Association gathered on Tuesday in the large hall of the Ajani Centre for their Christmas party.
President Konstantina Androutsopoulou conveyed the best wishes of the Board of Directors for the Christmas and New Year’s period.
The newly elected mayor of Manningham, Jim Grivas, councillors Anna Chen and Deirdre Diamonte and the head of the health and ageing department of the municipality, Fia Moraitis were present at the event, as was the state MP for the area, Mathew Guy.
They all personally greeted the members and exchanged well wishes, speaking positively about the Association.
In his greeting, Grivas, after recommending faith in the God-Man, sent a message of love, brotherhood and solidarity towards fellow human beings regardless of religion, wishing that peace reign on earth.

He congratulated the president and the Board of Directors on the upward trajectory of the Association.
The dancing spirit was kept high by the musical group “Laikes Melodies”, with the City Hall dance group first on the dance floor under the direction of Mrs. Sofia Mavridis.
In the role of Santa Claus, Vasilis Sioulas distributed candy canes and long-lasting wishes.
Afterwards, members and guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal and promised to meet again on 27 January 2026.
