Chrysoula (Chryssa) McNeill was terrified to open her VCE results, she had no idea what to expect.
Little did she know she was about to become the 2025 VCE Dux at her school Taylors Lakes Secondary College with an ATAR of 99.3.
Her study scores above 45 were English 48, Health & Human Development 48, Biology 46 and Data Analytics 46.
“I can’t describe the happiness I felt after seeing my result, but above all I felt unbelievably relieved,” she told Neos Kosmos.
“To have all my hard work pay off was one of the most rewarding experiences, yet despite my efforts this year, I know for certain that I couldn’t have achieved anywhere near this result without the unwavering support of those around me.

“What really motivated me was the overwhelming belief in me that my parents, teachers, sisters, and especially my yiayia and papou, harboured without fail. I truly couldn’t have done it without them.”
Chrysoula is hoping to go to Melbourne University to study Science and eventually Dental Surgery.
She was also one of the students honoured at the Greek Community of Melbourne’s annual High Achievers Awards last week where fellow Taylors Lakes student Giorgio Samantzis was also honoured for his ATAR of 97.1.
