Australian law firm Moray & Agnew has been recognised across five major practice areas in the 2026 Legal 500 Asia Pacific rankings.
The annual Legal 500 directory ranks firms through market analysis and detailed feedback from corporate clients and users of legal services.
In the latest edition, Moray & Agnew received national rankings in Real Estate, Construction, Projects & Infrastructure, Insurance, Labour & Employment, and Commercial Litigation.
The Melbourne office is led by Managing Partner Bill Papastergiadis, who also serves as National Chairman of Moray & Agnew.
Papastergiadis is well known in the Greek community as President of the Greek Community of Melbourne, and President of South Melbourne FC.
The community leader and lawyer said the rankings reflected a growing recognition of the firm’s depth across multiple practice areas.

“These results indicate an increased understanding in the market of our capabilities and our ability to manage complex legal work across a range of sectors,” Papastergiadis told Neos Kosmos.
Papastergiadis said that his community work as a leader of the Greek community and ‘Hellas’ reinforces his “holistic approach to legal issues”.
“Developing an understanding of people’s needs and a range of community issues, underscores my approach to legal matters. Empathy and understanding are essential to highly responsive solutions to what may be complex legal issues.”
National Managing Partner Ian Denham noted that recognition in directories such as Legal 500 carries particular weight because it is informed by client experience.
“The research reflects the quality of work delivered by our teams and the trust clients place in them,” Denham said.
Melbourne partner Phillip Vassiliadis, was again recognised as a Next Generation Partner.
