Where do you live?
I live in a house in Ayios Dhometios with some cats.
What did you have for breakfast?
Oats with carob syrup.
Describe your perfect day.
I prefer to break up my perfect day into moments in my daily life. So, these moments include trips with friends, with my partner and alone in nature, at the sea, contact with animals, contact with people who have something educational to offer or even relaxing on the couch with a documentary or music.
Best book ever read?
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry because it reminds me that simplicity, purity, freedom of expression, questions, new relationships, always have something to offer, they are the elements we are continually losing, but they are the fundamentals that we need.
Best childhood memory?
My grandparents’ house in Lefkara. The whole family, about 12 people, easily fit inside a three-bedroom house. In the evening in the yard, with the lights off, looking up at the stars and relaxing with the scent of jasmine.
What is always in your fridge?
Milk!!! (Delact)
What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Almost everything, but usually rock.
What’s your spirit animal?
Since there is no restriction, I would say the mythical phoenix. Whatever you go through in life, when you come out of it you then use it as a life lesson and move forward slightly wiser.
What are you most proud of?
That I am not in jail 🙂 and I am still alive – as a person that was fearless until the age of 35, a rebel and more, who tried the limits and sometimes went beyond them.
What movie scene has really stayed with you?
The death – or murder – of Mufasa and the face of Simba in The Lion King. It was the only time I cried watching a film. Because it was probably the first time that a movie – and indeed an animated one – managed to convey the pain the lion cub felt at that moment.
If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Freddie Mercury, a super-talented being who managed through his authenticity and his spontaneity to capture the hearts of the people, beyond the marvel of his music of course.
If you could time travel when/where would you go?
Everywhere in history. I’d live great historical events for 24 hours, from ancient Greece to modern history around the world. But if I could teleport, I would travel the world every weekend and, if possible, explore other planets too.
What is your greatest fear?
Illness, because it is the only thing that is not up to us to fix.
What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
You’ll be fine, keep going.
Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone.
I get bored easily, so the list is probably long and not very specific.
If the world is ending in 24 hours, what would you do?
Indeed… You never know when the end is coming for the world and each person, our own last 24 hours… If each day is of no value, what can you manage to fit in the last 24 hours? But for the sake of the question, I’d say… I would fly a plane (I don’t know how) because nothing worse than what was coming in the next 24 hours would happen to me.
