Bulgaria and Italy engage in joint NATO drills held in Bulgaria

ITALIAN and Bulgarian troops participated in a NATO organised drill on Wednesday, June 5, in northwestern Bulgaria.

The drill, which took place on Wednesday, was the final stage of the "Enhanced Vigilance Activity – 23" exercise.

The NATO multinational brigade, under Italy’s command, participated in the military drill, gathering approximately 1,100 personnel from Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
