Bulgarian Tennis Players Nikolay Nedelchev, Anthony Genov Win Doubles Title in Heraklion

Bulgarian tennis players Nikolay Nedelchev and Anthony Genov won the doubles title at the men’s outdoor hard-court tournament in Heraklion (Greece) with a prize fund of 25,000 dollars.

In the final, the Bulgarians, fourth-seeded in the competition, defeated Greek players Dimitris Sakellaridis and Michalis Sakellaridis 6:2, 6:1 in 56 minutes.

This was Genov’s third ITF doubles title and second in 2023 after his triumph in Kamen (Germany). The trophy in Heraklion is a first for Nedelchev in his doubles career.
