The hostilities in the Middle East have led Celestyal to cancel certain cruises.

Celestyal announced the cancellation of the upcoming 14-night repositioning cruises: “From Historic Athens to Glamorous Doha” and the corresponding return trip, “From Glamorous Doha to Historic Athens.” These cruises were scheduled to depart on October 26 2024 and March 8 2025, respectively, aboard the Celestyal Journey.

This decision was made following the recent escalation of political unrest along the original route, which passed through the Red Sea.

In order to maintain its commitment to the annual programme and ensure the success of Celestyal’s inaugural season in the Arabian Gulf, the Celestyal Journey will instead undertake a 34-night repositioning cruise, without passengers, to and from Doha, Qatar.
