British pop star Ed Sheeran attracted over 45,000 fans to two concerts in Larnaca last weekend, in what organisers claim to be the largest international music event ever held on the island.
The performances, staged by Moonlightshow Productions at the Land of Tomorrow venue, drew attendees from 42 countries, filling local hotels and tourist accommodations.
According to ticket sales data obtained by Philenews, Israel topped the list of international attendees, followed by Greece, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany. Notably, Australia ranked eighth, despite its geographical distance from Cyprus.
