Film lovers and Hellenic culture enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Spirit of Greece on Screen film event brings two classic Greek films with English subtitles to North Hobart.
Hosted at Hellenic House on Monday and Tuesday 11 and 11 February respectively at 6pm, these special screenings offer a chance to get immersed in the stories, humour, and artistry of Greek cinema.

Monday, 10 February at 6pm– Madalena (1960)
A tenacious daughter and a skilled boatman are determined to keep their parents’ longstanding feud alive. But when tragedy strikes, their rivalry escalates. Can a humble priest mend old wounds and bring love into their lives? Don’t miss this classic romance featuring Greece’s beloved Aliki Vougiouklaki.
