Female leaders in healthcare to be honoured in upcoming event

The Hellenic Medical Society of Australia (HMSA) is set to highlight the immense work of female leaders in healthcare in their upcoming celebration of International Women’s Day event.
The event, which is presented with Dukasa Dispensary, will take place on Thursday 13 March at the Botanical Hotel with numerous speakers organised to showcase the tremendous work done by women in Medicine.
The evening will feature a discussion with three female leaders in Medicine: Associate Professor Vicki Kotsirilos, Professor Genie Pedagogos and Associate Professor Anastasia Chrysostomou.
In addition to the aforementioned speakers, lawyer Dean Kalimniou will also address the crowd as he provides a historical perspective on Greek women and leadership at the event.
The initiative is seemingly much-anticipated with the free event having already run out of spots, though the HMSA has opened a waitlist and has instructed interested parties to reach out to annaciviti@gmail.com to be added.
