First Global Conference on ‘Women and Hellenism’ kicks off in Ioannina with live broadcast

The Food for Thought Network (FFTN) kicked off the World Conference on “Women and Hellenism”, on Monday, September 2, in Ioannina. With everything in place, the event is set to welcome 150 delegates from around the world.
The conference, which takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 3-4, from 9am to 5pm at the Grand Serai Hotel and Congress Center in Ioannina, promises to be a significant gathering focused on exploring the intersections of Hellenism, identity, and sustainability.
These key themes will guide the presentations and discussions throughout the event.

Speakers from both the Greek diaspora and Greece will share their insights and personal experiences, offering diverse perspectives on the theme of Hellenism. The event will be co-hosted by Eleni Kapalos, a well-known Greek-Australian journalist, and Maria Dimopoulos AM, a respected lawyer and human rights advocate.
