Greece, Cyprus and Armenia have signed new military cooperation agreements for 2025 at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) headquarters as part of international defence collaborations with allied and friendly nations.
GEETHA announced today that both the “Greece-Cyprus-Armenia Joint Action Plan” and the “Greece-Armenia Military Cooperation Programme” build upon similar agreements signed in 2024.
The new plans include operational training activities, joint special forces exercises, experience and lessons learned exchanges, and director-level staff meetings.
These initiatives reinforce the strong military ties between the three countries and aim to enhance their armed forces’ operational capabilities and interoperability, according to the announcement.
GEETHA added that the cooperation helps cement Greece, Cyprus and Armenia’s roles as pillars of security and stability in the Caucasus and Eastern Mediterranean regions.
