Young Greek Cypriots who were “arrested” yesterday in occupied Famagusta are expected to be released.
On Friday evening, Turkish Cypriot media reported the news about a group of Greek Cypriot youths – without specifying the number of people – who were “arrested” by the “police” in occupied Famagusta.
CNA sources from the Bi-communal Contact Office state that the young people will be released. “It is not a serious incident, and a decision had been made to release them,” the same sources added.
