Investigations in the cells of Korydallos Prison were carried out on Monday morning by officers of the Sub-Directorate for Crimes Against Life and Property of the Organized Crime Division.
In this context, a case file was filed against two inmates for, as applicable, violation of measures ensuring social peace in combination with moral complicity, as well as violation of the weapons law.
Specifically, during searches conducted in the cells by officers of the Extortion Unit, the following were found and confiscated: an improvised knife, two mobile phones, two mobile phone chargers, and two pairs of headphones.
The case files that have been created will be submitted to the competent prosecutorial authority.
