Greek President confers PM Modi with ‘Grand Cross of the Order of Honour’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Honour by Greek President Katerina N. Sakellaropoulou in Athens. "A special honour reflecting the strength of the India-Greece partnership. PM @narendramodi conferred with the Grand Cross of the Order of Honour by @PresidencyGR Katerina N. Sakellaropoulou," stated Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, on X, formerly known as Twitter. In earlier hours today, Prime Minister Modi engaged in delegation-level discussions with his Greek counterpart, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. During a press conference, the Prime Minister remarked, "Greece and India represent a natural alliance between two ancient civilizations of
the world."
