Shocking details have emerged in the Turkish-Cypriot press after a man admitted to raping a 17 year teenager with down’s syndrome multiple times over the past year.
The Turkish-Cypriot man is in custody along with the girl’s Greek-Cypriot stepmother, in a case that has rocked the community.
The suspects appeared before a ‘court’ yesterday, while a psychological evaluation is pending on the 17 year old victim, who is under constant supervision and care.
The man appears to have sexually abused the girl many times, with the stepmother allegedly helping in the crime.
