Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister meets with European leaders in Brussels

BRUSSELS: His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and personal representative of His Majesty, met with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of Greece, and Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium, on the sidelines of the first joint GCC-EU summit. Additionally, His Highness held discussions with Charles Michel, President of the European Council.
During these meetings, the officials discussed the strong bilateral relations between Oman and the respective European countries and explored opportunities for further cooperation in various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The discussions also touched upon the agenda of the inaugural Gulf-European Summit, which aimed to strengthen ties between the two regions.
