Protesting Greek Farmers Block Highways for 48 Hours

Farmers on tractors have blocked, among others, the Athens-Lamia highway, the Antirrio-Ioannina motorway, in western Greece, Bralos in Phthiotis, in central Greece, the Tempi tunnel, connecting Athens with Thessaloniki, as well as Malgara, in central Macedonia, and the New Evripos Bridge, which connects central Greece to the island of Evia. They have also blocked customs offices at the borders, including Promachonas and Exochi, on the border with Bulgaria, and the Evzoni and Niki, on the border with North Macedonia.
