Our top story tonight: James Coates, whose father Ian was killed in the attack in June last year, tells Sky News victims received a letter from Valdo’s Calocane’s family about failings in Valdo’s mental health care.

Calocane stabbed Barnaby Webber, Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates in June 2023 and was convicted of manslaughter – rather than murder – due to his paranoid schizophrenia.
