Greece finds unacceptable the logic about the constitutional name being used by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova in formal communication, but not in public appearances.
Government Spokesperson Pavlov Marinakis stated on Thursday that the Prespa Agreement had to be accepted in all formulations. As he explained, when it comes to the position of President, there can be no talk of double language and a personal right.
“I think it’s hypocritical for this to be said and heard. That is, over some things, where we need to be formal, we will be, but in our public appearances, we will do what we want either because we believe in that or because we serve our audience. This can be accepted neither by Greece nor by any other serious country,” the Spokesperson noted.
