VMRO-DPMNE Levels Accusations at Jakimovski

At a press-conference on Wednesday, VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee member Marija Miteva asked how the family of Karpos Mayor Stevco Jakimovski (who’s running for another term) had become the owner of two land parcels in the settlement of Zdanec.
“How is it possible for, in one calendar year, Mayor Jakimovski to find himself in a situation where, with his family, they’ve become the owners of two construction parcels in the most elite part of Karpos, in the place of Zdanec, precisely where he personally lives?
The public has the right to know from where such property in the most expensive urban zone of Skopje has been secured and with which funds. How is it possible for parcels that, according to the previous Detailed Urban Plan, had been marked as greenery, after their purchase by the Jakimovski family, magically become construction land, with an urbanistic allotted building plot already included in the plan?
Additionally, we are asking whether it’s true that in the last year, in addition to the domestic parcels, the Jakimovski family has acquired a villa in a tourist spot in Greece”, she stated.
