Week in Review: Boldness and Drama

For just over a year, the high-profile trial of Milorad Dodik, president of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska entity, has been winding through the courts. Dodik, along with co-accused Milos Lucic, has been indicted for failing to comply with the decisions of the Bosnia’s international overseer, the High Representative.
With the trial now nearing its final phase, all eyes are on what happens next. There will almost certainly be appeals, but could the trial result in Dodik being ousted from office? The Bosnian Serb leader may be betting on a new Trump administration helping him get off the hook, but how realistic is this?
