The Greek city of Chalkida sits on a beautiful spot, dividing the Greek mainland from Evia, its second-biggest island. Far fewer people know that it is also home to the oldest Jewish cemetery within the EU, dating back to the 15th century.
In our report this week, we take a walk around this important monument with Meir Maisis, its 91-year old guardian, who has dedicated many years to restoring the cemetery and uncovering its rich history.
